Southern Ogliastra
The southern edge of Ogliastra, where the coast drops lower and the villages sit further from the sea.

Tertenia closes Ogliastra to the south. The village is inland, and the sea is reached by dropping down to a coast that alternates sandy stretches and rock, far less busy than the Gulf of Orosei.
It is a good addition for anyone who wants to see how quickly east Sardinia changes over a few kilometres along the same axis.
Where to stay
It is the furthest point to cover in a day from I Mandorli: better to give it a dedicated excursion.
