Bari Sardo belongs to the southern part of Ogliastra, where the mountains pull back from the sea and leave room for a cultivated belt. The Barì tower, on the shore, is the visual reference of the coastline.

It is an area that rewards time: the beaches are less known but reachable without a hike, and the village retains an active farming fabric.
